B & N adds dining kids iPad app. 100 interactive Titles at launch

Shortly before Christmas, Barnes & Noble (NYSE: BKS) quietly released their app e-books to children kids dinner for Apple iPad. The new app came a little over a month after B & N unveiled its dining color e-reader, which seemed to be taking aim at the iPad and Amazon's Kindle. But the price point of most applications tend to be cheaper than the e-books, many publishers are worried about the lack of a popular platform to sell their products.
